About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join JCB Service and Attachments as an engineer responsible for delivering innovative, practical solutions across a diverse product range. You’ll lead small to medium-sized projects from concept to launch, designing fabricated structures and collaborating with suppliers to develop efficient hydraulic and electrical systems. The role combines hands-on engineering with design responsibilities, offering the chance to work closely with commercial and operations teams to bring impactful products to market. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where your ideas are valued, and your passion for engineering can thrive. While experience in off-highway machinery or light equipment is an advantage, it’s your drive to take ownership and grow that will make you stand out.
What does this role involve day to day?
- Engineering ownership of small to medium-sized projects, from initial product brief through to launch.
- Designing and developing fabricated structures, with a focus on material selection, manufacturing processes, and FEA understanding
- Collaborating with suppliers to develop hydraulic and electrical systems that are efficient, robust, and cost-effective.
- Ensuring designs align with JCB standards and meet all relevant legislative requirements.
- Communicating regularly with stakeholders, including participating in project reviews and delivering presentations.

- Experience or product knowledge in off-highway machinery or light equipment would be a benefit, but not essential.
What happens next?
