About the role:

Based at JCB World Headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire, and reporting to the Assistant Group Treasurer within the Group Finance function, the Treasury & Export Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing global cash, liquidity, and export finance activities. This high-impact position supports strategic financial decision-making and ensures efficient treasury operations across JCB’s international footprint. With a broad global reach, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple regions and business units, helping to optimise financial performance and support the company’s international growth and trade objectives.

 

What does this role involve day to day?

  • Cash & Liquidity Management: Monitor global cash positions, ensure optimal liquidity across regions, and manage short-term funding requirements.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, working closely with finance teams to ensure alignment with business plans.
  • Foreign Exchange & Risk Management: Execute FX transactions, monitor exposures, and support hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk.
  • Debt & Investment Oversight: Assist in managing group debt facilities, covenant compliance, and investment of surplus funds in line with policy.
  • Treasury Reporting & Analysis: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports, analyze variances, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Banking Relationship Management: Liaise with banking partners to optimise services, negotiate terms, and resolve operational issues.
  • Treasury Management System (TMS) continuous improvement and ongoing administration: Maintain and enhance the TMS (e.g., FIS-Integrity), ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and supporting automation initiatives.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance: Drive automation initiatives, ensure adherence to treasury policies, and support internal/external audits.

 

This will be suited to you if...

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear recommendations.
  • You are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships across finance teams and external partners.
  • You are proactive and tech-savvy, with hands-on experience in treasury systems (e.g., FIS Integrity, SAP) and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • You possess a solid understanding of financial markets, FX, liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury management system functionality, ideally within a multinational setting.
  • You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • A professional qualification (e.g., ACT, CFA, ACA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • You have significant amount  of treasury experience in a corporate or banking environment.
