We’re looking for a Country Manager to lead and accelerate JCB’s sales growth in Kazakhstan, with a strong focus on our Core 9 products particularly excavators, front loaders, and compaction equipment. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for driving market share, developing dealer partnerships, and building strong relationships with key clients across multiple sectors.
You’ll be the face of JCB in Kazakhstan, working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver commercial success. Occasional international travel will be required to support dealer engagement, training, and regional initiatives.
What Does This Role Involve Day to Day?
Dealer Management
Lead the country sales forecast, ensuring timely placement and processing of Ex-works orders.
Oversee dealer payments, trade support, and product specifications.
Align product penetration strategies with the dealer’s product team to maximise market impact.
Monitor market dynamics and gather intelligence on competitor activities and strategies.
Collaborate with JCB and dealer marketing teams to develop localised promotional campaigns.
Plan and coordinate on-site equipment demonstrations to attract new customers.
Support dealer sales teams during customer meetings, exhibitions, product launches, and presentations.
Deliver regular product sales training to enhance dealer capability and confidence.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in construction, mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of JCB products.
Sales Operations
Maintain accurate records of dealer sales activities, prospects, and pipeline status using CRM systems.
This Will Be Suited to You If...
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
You bring proven experience in sales management within the heavy machinery or construction equipment industry.
You have a strong understanding of the Kazakhstan market and its key players.
You’re a confident communicator and negotiator, with excellent presentation and influencing skills.
You’re skilled at leading and motivating dealer sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
You’re fluent in English and comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment.
You’re open to occasional international travel to support regional growth and dealer engagement.
A CIPD qualification or background in learning and development would be a bonus, especially if you enjoy coaching and developing others.
