About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to join JCB’s award-winning Technical Training team, supporting the development and delivery of training for our full product range—including Agricultural, Construction, Waste, Power Generation and Access equipment. Initially focused on Loadall and Stage V engines, this role will expand to include Fastrac training, covering next-generation cab systems and advanced technologies. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our dealer engineers and major account service teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional customer support and maximise machine uptime.
What does this role involve day to day?
• Deliver existing Loadall and Stage V engine training courses, evolving to include Fastrac machine and GPS systems.
• Take ownership of New Product Introduction Projects (NPIP) for Loadall and Fastrac, identifying training needs and developing delivery strategies.
• Engage with product engineering teams to create and update training materials for new machines and technical updates.
• Design and deliver training using eLearning, remote sessions, and hands-on workshop techniques.
• Deliver apprentice training in core systems—engines, transmissions, hydraulics, or electrics.
• Support the development of training pathways for engineers and master technicians.
• Collaborate with global training teams to ensure consistent standards and content delivery.
• Create clear, accessible process maps and technical documentation for training purposes.
This will be suited to you if:
• You have a solid understanding of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems in off-highway agricultural machinery.
• You’ve worked in roles such as field service engineer, technical support, development engineer, or regional service manager.
• You’re passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others reach their full potential.
• You’re confident delivering training to apprentices and experienced engineers alike.
• You’re familiar with machine schematics and technical drawings across multiple systems.
• You’re PC literate and proficient in MS Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Experience with electric machines, telehandlers, or OEM engines is essential.
• Any teaching, mentoring, coaching, or assessment qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
