Join the Estate Maintenance Team
A new opportunity for a highly skilled painter/ decorator has arisen on the renowned organic, 3,100 acre Daylesford Estate on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border.
Working across the Estate’s diverse collection of properties, you will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing our buildings and surroundings to the highest standards. From historic buildings and private residences to estate offices, cottages and agricultural properties, no two days will be quite the same.
We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude and ability to work under their own initiative, who takes genuine pride in their work and has an exceptional eye for detail.
You will have:
- Proven experience in professional painting and decorating.
- Excellent preparation and finishing skills.
- A meticulous eye for detail.
- The ability to work confidently with a variety of materials, surfaces and finishes.
- A professional, courteous and discreet approach, particularly when working within private homes.
- A practical, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider Maintenance Team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- A full UK driving licence.
Experience of working within an estate, historic property, private residence, hotel or similarly high-quality environment would be advantageous.
Knowledge of traditional painting and decorating techniques and experience working within older or listed buildings would also be welcomed.
Salary dependent on experience. Company Pension Scheme, private health care and 29 days holiday
