About the role:
JCB is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Regional Sales Manager to help grow our construction equipment business across the Nordic region.
This is a key customer and dealer-facing role, responsible for supporting our dealer network, developing relationships, identifying market opportunities, and driving machine sales growth. The role will be primarily focused on the Swedish market, with a strong emphasis on the construction sector and additional responsibility for supporting opportunities within agriculture. While collaboration across the wider Nordic region will be required, Sweden will be the principal area of responsibility.
The position will initially be home-based for the first few months, with plans to establish a JCB Nordic premises in the region in the future. The role involves extensive travel, with approximately 80% of travel taking place within Sweden and 20% across the wider Nordic region and other international markets. Some travel to JCB's UK operations in England will also form part of the role.
Due to the travel requirements and the primary focus on the Swedish market, Stockholm would be an advantageous location for the successful candidate to be based.
What does this role involve day to day?
•Drive sales growth and increase market share across the JCB construction equipment range throughout the Nordic region.
•Support and develop dealer partners to maximise sales performance and market penetration.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, customers, and key industry stakeholders.
•Provide dealers with commercial support, market insights, and product expertise.
•Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win market share.
•Work closely with dealers on sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management.
•Monitor competitor activity, customer trends, and market developments.
•Support product launches, demonstrations, exhibitions, and customer events.
•Promote the JCB brand and strengthen customer loyalty across the region.
•Share customer and market feedback with internal stakeholders to support future growth initiatives.
This will be suited to you if…
•You're willing and able to travel extensively, with the majority of travel taking place within Sweden, alongside travel across the wider Nordic region and regular visits to England.
•You have proven sales experience within construction equipment, heavy machinery, plant equipment, commercial vehicles, or a related industry.
•You possess a strong understanding of the Nordic construction market and customer landscape.
•You have experience working with and supporting dealer networks.
•You can build credible relationships with contractors, business owners, and senior decision-makers.
•You have a strong commercial mindset and a track record of delivering sales growth.
•You're confident identifying market opportunities and converting them into business success.
•You have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•You're self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
•You're willing and able to travel extensively across the Nordic region.
Language Requirements
You are fluent in Swedish and English.
Additional Nordic language skills would be advantageous.
