About the role:
JCB Insurance are recruiting for an Office Receptionist and Admin Support colleague to provide a professional, welcoming and efficient front-of-house service while supporting the Management Team with day-to-day administrative duties.
Owned by JCB Excavators, JCB Insurance is an independent general insurance broker focused on delivering tailored insurance solutions and exceptional customer service. This role will be central to the smooth running of the office, helping ensure visitors, clients, colleagues and suppliers receive a professional and positive first impression of the business.
Full time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexible holidays
What does this role involve day to day?
· Provide a professional front-of-house reception service, welcoming visitors and colleagues and ensuring they are directed appropriately.
· Answer and manage incoming calls, taking accurate messages and transferring enquiries to the relevant team members.
· Support the Management Team with diary coordination, meeting room bookings, preparation of meeting papers and general administration.
· Assist with the preparation, formatting, filing and distribution of documents, correspondence and reports.
· Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and general office supplies, ensuring the office environment remains organised and well presented.
· Work closely with colleagues across the business to support excellent service standards, confidentiality and compliance with internal procedures.
This will be suited to you if…
· You have previous reception, office administration or customer service experience and enjoy being the first point of contact for a business.
· You are professional, approachable and confident when dealing with visitors, clients, colleagues and external contacts.
· You have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a varied workload with changing priorities.
· You are comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel, and are willing to learn internal systems.
· You understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy and good record keeping within a regulated insurance environment.
· You are a positive team player who can also work independently, using initiative to keep office processes running smoothly.
