About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic Backhoe Loader Product team – home to JCB’s flagship product and the global market leader. With an ambitious five-year growth strategy, the team is continuously evolving to meet market demands through cutting-edge innovation and technology.

We’re looking for a passionate individual who can help deliver this vision, working closely with regional teams to lead New Product Introduction Projects (NPIP) and support global expansion. This role involves collaboration across the wider business and regular engagement with senior leadership, including updates to the executive team.

What does this role involve day to day?

• You’ll be responsible for the delivery of the following tasks such as customer evaluation, product benchmarking, specification, competitive pricing position, creation of product briefs and supporting regional launches.

• You’ll provide operational and engineering support including concessions, sales specials, model rationalisation / Yellow Series, stock management, sales codes and SAP configuration, descriptions, pricing management and Livelink utilisation.

• You’ll provide specialist input into all product literature and marketing materials to enable effective marketing activities and social media

• You’ll provide professional and timely responses to all product enquiries

• You’ll support all training and competitive selling around the world

• You’ll provide the business with market intelligence, competitive benchmarking and sector / application knowledge

• You’ll work collaboratively with the Product Manager, Product Champion and central Sales functions to ensure delivery of the 5 Year Plans

• You’ll be responsible for delivery of competitor comparisons & hub content

This will be suited to you if…

• You’re educated to degree level or equivalent

• You have Product Marketing or practical technical knowledge

• You have demonstrable experience working in the construction and/or agriculture sector

• You demonstrate proficiency with a full suite of Microsoft office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

• You have knowledge of SAP user interface.

• You can effectively priorities tasks and communicate to stakeholders on multiple levels.

• You’re an individual with a sense of urgency and positive attitude, with a drive to problem solve quickly as issues arise.

• You’re a confident when presenting to large audiences.

• You have product knowledge of Backhoe Loaders, excavators or wheeled loader and other JCB Products
