About the Role:

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Supply Chain expert to join our team at JCB World Headquarters. This is a key leadership role responsible for creating and delivering robust policies, procedures and subsequent training programs across the Group for a range of Production & Materials planning activities. The area of responsibility will not be limited to but will range from translating & converting sales demand into deliverable build plans to ensuring there is a sustainable supply chain capable of delivering business needs.

The Production & Material Control function is the operational backbone of JCB’s manufacturing network and plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and material availability is consistently and effectively managed within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What Does This Role Involve Day to Day?

As Group Production & Material Control Manager, you will be responsible for implementing best practice and working principles that enable the Materials Teams to operate in a consistent and excellent manner across the group when dealing with:

· Change Management (Communication, Risk & Decision Making)

· Materials Planning (Setting & Maintaining Safety Stock Levels)

· Stock Integrity & Accuracy (Classification & Continuous Improvement)

· Supplier Management (Delivery Performance to Schedule & Change)

· Value Stream Mapping (Identification of Risk & Waste Elimination)

· Material Change Management (Zero Obsolescence from VA/VE & Supplier Resource projects)

· New Product Introduction (Launch Readiness)

· Installed Supplier Capacity (Current Demand vs Growth Plan)

· Performance Management (Recovery & Mitigation Planning)

· Point of Fit Performance (Driving initiatives to improve material availability across internal and external supply chains)

This Will Be Suited to You If:

· You have at least 10 years’ experience in a leadership role within a supply chain or manufacturing environment

· You possess strong communication and data management skills, with a solid understanding of SAP, particularly in Release & Follow-Up processes, BOM control, and inventory management

· You’re commercially aware and able to anticipate challenges before they arise

· You’re a lateral thinker with strong problem-solving abilities

· You’re a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organisation

· You’re passionate about driving performance, improving processes, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
