Maintaining and repairing site infrastructure, including lighting, power, doors, loading docks, heating, and general building services

Diagnosing faults and completing electrical repairs and installations in line with current regulations

Completing plumbing maintenance tasks such as pipework repairs, leak rectification, valves, and fixtures

Supporting maintenance requirements for warehouse automation systems (e.g. conveyors, automated handling equipment, sensors), escalating to specialist support when required

Responding quickly to breakdowns, urgent repairs, and facilities issues to minimise operational impact

Supporting office facilities requirements, including furniture moves, workstation reconfigurations, minor repairs, and space changes

Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety legislation, risk assessments, and safe systems of work

Accurately logging all maintenance and facilities tasks using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Liaising effectively with warehouse operations, office staff, management, and external contractors

Proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities across facilities, maintenance, and automation

Maintaining tools, equipment, spares, and work areas to a safe and serviceable standard

Overtime is an essential part of this role

This will be suited to you if...

You have electrical certification (18th Edition or equivalent strongly preferred)

You have a proven plumbing qualification or demonstrable certified competence

You bring significant hands‑on maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or facilities environment

You are confident in electrical fault‑finding, repair, and installation work

You have practical plumbing experience, including pipework, valves, and leak repairs

You can carry out general building and plant maintenance, including mechanical repairs and installation or modification work

You are reliable, proactive, and safety‑focused, with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

You’re flexible in your approach, comfortable dealing with breakdowns and urgent repairs
