About the role:
As an Operative at the JCB World Parts Centre, you will play an important role in supporting the efficient flow of parts through the warehouse. You’ll be responsible for completing tasks accurately, safely and on time to help ensure JCB customers and dealers receive the parts they need. This role operates in a fast paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork and reliability are essential.
What does this role involve day to day?
• Carrying out warehouse duties with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working to deadlines to support daily operational targets in a busy environment.
• Handling goods safely in line with manual handling and health & safety guidelines.
• Completing basic IT tasks including email use and system data entry.
• Supporting goods‑in activities where required.
• Using warehouse equipment and systems in line with training and procedures.
• Communicating clearly with colleagues and supervisors to support smooth operations.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and organisation.
This will be suited to you if...
Essential:
• You have strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate work.
• You can work effectively to deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
• You have good written and verbal communication skills.
• You are comfortable with basic IT tasks such as emails and system data entry.
• You understand and follow safe manual handling principles.
• You demonstrate excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability.
Desirable:
• You have previous experience in a warehouse or goods‑in environment.
• You hold a forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach or PPT).
• You have an understanding of inventory control processes.
• You have experience using barcode scanning or warehouse tracking equipment.
What happens next?
