The Opportunity- Regional Aftermarket Sales Manager – JCB Australia
About the role:
JCB Australia is seeking a proactive and driven Regional Aftermarket Sales Manager to work closely with our dealer network across Australia. As part of a truly world‑class, family‑owned business, you’ll play a key role in supporting dealer performance while driving parts and service sales revenue and overall aftermarket profitability.
In this role, you'll motivate, support, and develop dealers, acting as a trusted commercial partner and champion for aftermarket growth. You’ll represent both customer and dealer interests within JCB, contributing to long‑term business success and strengthening JCB’s aftermarket presence across the region.
What does this role involve day to day?
Your day‑to‑day focus will be on building strong commercial relationships with dealers and driving sustainable aftermarket growth through structured planning and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with dealers to deliver annual sales and profit targets supported by structured aftermarket sales and marketing plans
Building compelling commercial proposals and strategies to secure new business
Monitoring competitor activity and supporting dealers to recover lost or at‑risk opportunities
Representing customer interests within JCB through regular engagement with dealers and end‑users
Strengthening aftermarket capability across the dealer network, including training, stock management, marketing support, system usage, and new product introductions
Identifying new product opportunities and providing feedback to JCB product teams
Collaborating across dealer departments to maximise service contracts, machine health checks, service penetration, and Livelink renewals
Conducting regular monthly performance reviews with Aftermarket Directors and half‑yearly reviews with Dealer Principals
You’ll balance strategic planning with hands‑on dealer support, using data and insight to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:
Experience within an aftermarket environment such as construction, agriculture, automotive, or commercial vehicles
Strong communication skills, able to influence from shop floor to boardroom
Excellent organisation and time‑management capability
Confidence to challenge constructively and professionally
The ability to identify, articulate, and deliver aftermarket sales opportunities
Strong analytical skills, using data to spot trends and drive decisions
Comfort selling concepts, programmes, and strategic ideas, not just products
The ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently
An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to seize opportunity

An understanding of manufacturer–dealer business models and B2B relationships
Commercial awareness, including the ability to interpret management accounts and market forces
