The Opportunity- Marketing Manager – JCB Australia
About the role:
As the Marketing Manager for JCB Australia, you will take full ownership of marketing across Australia, New Zealand and the wider Pacific region. This is a senior, standalone role where you will shape the strategy, lead execution, and drive all activity that elevates the JCB brand across a fast‑growing market. You’ll partner with senior leaders and global marketing teams, but you’ll own the day‑to‑day delivery independently, from digital and brand to events, PR, dealer support and product launches. This is a role for someone who brings energy, creativity and a bold mindset, with the ability to turn ideas into impactful, commercially meaningful marketing.
What does this role involve day to day?
Leading the regional marketing strategy in line with commercial growth goals across Australia, NZ and the Pacific.
Owning digital channels including website content, paid media, SEO/SEM, social and lead‑generation activity.
Building and optimising digital marketing programmes, implementing analytics, and reporting performance and ROI.
Managing CRM and marketing automation processes.
Delivering high‑quality PR, communications, brand activity and external messaging.
Creating compelling content including copy, visuals, presentations and collateral.
Supporting dealers with campaigns, brand consistency, and local activation plans.
Planning and delivering customer events, dealer roadshows, major trade shows and new product launches.
Leading advertising activity across digital, print and out‑of‑home channels.
Coordinating with agencies and suppliers where needed.
Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform decision‑making.
Localising global initiatives and product campaigns for the Pacific market.
This will be suited to you if…
You’re an experienced B2B marketing professional, ideally from machinery, automotive, construction or industrial sectors.
You’re comfortable operating as a standalone marketer with full end‑to‑end responsibility.
You have strong digital expertise and understand how to drive demand and commercial outcomes.
You’re creative, fast‑paced, proactive and enjoy challenging the norm to find better solutions.
You can link marketing activity directly to revenue, performance and sales impact.
You’re confident managing stakeholders across senior leadership, dealers and global teams.
You have excellent organisational skills and thrive in a varied, hands‑on role.
You ideally have experience working with dealer or distributor networks.
You’re familiar with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
You understand the construction, earthmoving or agricultural landscape within the Pacific region (desirable).
