About the role:
As Product Growth Head for Wear Parts at the JCB World Parts Centre, you will lead the strategic direction, performance and expansion of our global Wear Parts portfolio. This is a highly influential role responsible for driving product growth, strengthening market competitiveness and delivering strong commercial outcomes across JCB’s aftermarket business. You’ll shape product strategy, identify new opportunities, optimise the product lifecycle and work cross‑functionally with engineering, supply chain, sales and global teams to ensure our Wear Parts offering remains best‑in‑class in quality, performance and value. With a strong blend of commercial insight, technical understanding and strategic mindset, you’ll play a key role in maximising JCB’s aftermarket success.
What does this role involve day to day?
· Defining and executing the growth strategy for the Wear Parts product line in alignment with JCB’s wider business objectives.
· Identifying emerging trends, customer needs and market opportunities to increase product penetration and expand the portfolio.
· Managing the full product lifecycle including introduction, optimisation, maintenance and phase‑out.
· Ensuring product competitiveness through continuous improvement, innovation and strong collaboration with engineering and supply chain.
· Conducting market research, competitor benchmarking and analysing customer insights to drive strategic decision‑making.
· Monitoring regulatory changes and industry developments affecting Wear Parts.
· Supporting global sales teams with product training, technical expertise and marketing collateral.
· Working closely with dealers and customers to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
· Driving greater adoption of digital tools and e‑commerce channels for Wear Parts sales.
· Owning the P&L for the Wear Parts portfolio and managing financial performance.
· Setting, tracking and reporting KPIs including revenue, margin, profitability and market share.
· Building business cases for new product introductions and strategic investments.
· Collaborating with global teams to ensure alignment, delivery and consistent execution across markets.
This will be suited to you if…
· You hold a degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
· You have a proven track record in product management, ideally within construction equipment, heavy machinery or aftermarket parts.
· You possess strong commercial acumen and a strong understanding of aftermarket operations.
· You bring technical knowledge of wear parts applications, materials and performance requirements.
· You have excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
· You’re highly analytical and comfortable using data to shape decisions, strategies and business cases.
· You’re proficient in MS Office, ERP systems and data analysis tools.
· You’re strategic, customer‑focused and skilled at balancing long‑term growth with operational delivery.
· You thrive in a global, cross‑functional environment and enjoy collaborating with teams across regions.
· You can lead with clarity, drive performance and deliver measurable commercial impact.
