About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join JCB as a Buyer, based at our World Parts Centre. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring parts are sourced from the best suppliers—delivering the highest quality at the best value. You’ll play a vital part in supporting our dealer network, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and driving a more resilient supply chain. This is a fast-paced, commercially focused role where your decisions directly impact customer satisfaction and machine uptime in the field.

What does this role involve day to day?

• Source parts from the best suppliers, ensuring quality, value, and reliability
• Manage dealer enquiries for quotations and respond to customer demands
• Ensure parts are available and accurately costed
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships across your area of responsibility
• Mitigate on-costs for JCB Service and re-source parts between suppliers as needed
• Introduce new aftermarket suppliers into JCB
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the best solution for the customer
• Drive improvements in supply chain resilience

This will be suited to you if...

• You’re an experienced purchasing or supply chain professional
• You have purchasing accreditations (desirable) and experience leading projects
• You’re highly motivated, meticulous, and efficient in your approach
• You have strong supplier negotiation skills and supply chain knowledge
• You’re confident working with cross-functional teams to deliver results

What happens next?

Ordinarily, our Resourcing Team reviews and shortlists CVs. If shortlisted, you’ll speak to one of our Recruiters to discuss the role further. Our interview process usually consists of an initial Teams interview followed by an in-person interview.
