About the role:

As an Accounts Assistant, you will liaise closely with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve your objectives. As a key point of contact for the Business Unit’s Finance function, you will need to be approachable, knowledgeable, and able to advise and respond to queries in a professional and courteous manner.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and future development opportunities.

What does this role involve day to day?

• Acting as the primary contact for suppliers regarding invoice and payment queries.

• Reviewing and resolving parked (unmatched) invoices.

• Collaborating with key stakeholders to improve accounts payable processes and drive efficiency.

• Producing daily and weekly KPI reporting.

• Performing supplier statement reconciliations.

• Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments related to committed purchase orders and parked/unmatched invoices.

This will be suited to you if

• You have experience in a similar role or are at the early stages of a career in finance.

• You're eager to work within an established team and contribute to continuous improvement.

• You enjoy problem-solving, challenging the status quo, and developing more efficient practices.

• You're personally accountable, able to organise and prioritise your workload, and pay close attention to detail.

What happens next?
