About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our team at JCB Service. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our aftermarket parts supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and resilient—delivering the best value and service to our customers.

This role is a 3 month rolling contract

What does this role involve day to day?

• Ensuring parts are sourced from the best supplier, with the best quality at the best level of value

• Managing dealer enquiries for quotations

• Responding to customer demands and ensuring parts are available and accurately costed

• Managing supplier relationships across your area of responsibility

• Mitigating on-costs for JCB Service

• Re-sourcing parts between suppliers

• Introducing new aftermarket suppliers into JCB

• Working with cross-functional teams to deliver the best solution for the customer

• Driving a more resilient supply chain

This will be suited to you if:

• You're an experienced purchasing or supply chain professional

• You hold purchasing accreditations (desirable but not essential)

• You're highly motivated and meticulous in your work

• You have experience leading projects and working with cross-functional teams

• You're confident in supplier negotiation and have strong supply chain knowledge

• You're efficient, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

What happens next?

Ordinarily, our Resourcing Team reviews and shortlists CVs. If shortlisted, you’ll speak to one of our Recruiters to discuss the role further. Our interview process usually consists of an initial Teams interview followed by an in-person interview.
