About the role:
To keep track of all our dealers, we use our Dealer Appointments & Terminations System (DATS). You’ll make sure new dealers are appointed quickly and efficiently and process outgoing dealers. In addition, you’ll manage changes within our existing dealer network and maintain DATS workflows and administration.
As you’ll be working with DATS every day, you’ll be our resident expert and a vital source of knowledge. You’ll therefore be giving advice to our regional teams and will help guide them through the DATS process by providing training and support. Among the people you’ll see are also our in-house legal professionals. They’ll be giving you expert guidance on contract templates and global dealer agreements. With the chance to play a part in strategic network development projects too, you’ll help to raise sales of JCB products all over the globe.
What does this role involve day to day?
• Essential administrative role requiring strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task and communicate and engage at all levels.
• Management of our internal Dealer Appointments & Terminations System (DATS):
• Support/advise regional teams regarding every aspect of DATS.
• Ensure that new dealers are appointed quickly & efficiently.
• Ensure that outgoing dealers' access to our JCB systems is removed.
• Process dealer changes
• Amend/update the various DATS workflows with changes as appropriate/liaise with relevant departments throughout the business.
• Manage personnel changes within DATS (task completers and approvers)
• Provide training and support to new DATS approvers and task completers.
• Complete various DATS tasks regarding dealer set up, changes and terminations: JDS, SAP, dealer agreements, Salesforce.
• Dealer Agreements/legal letters
• Liaise with our legal department regarding all legal queries relating to our global dealer agreements.
• Manage changes in our global dealer agreement templates.
• Manage/oversee changes to our subsid dealer agreement templates to keep in line with UK templates by liaising with regional administrators.
• Address specific issues dealers have raised.
• Produce ad hoc side letters to accompany the dealer agreements.
• Manage/oversee the renewal of our global dealer agreement renewals every month via DocuSign, Salesforce and email.
• Arrange notarisation/legalisation of dealer agreements via RF Consular Services
• Maintenance of Dealer and Dealer Agreement records in our CRM system Salesforce
• Administration support
• Raising of orders in SAP
• Dealer Corporate Identity / signage recharges
This will be suited to you:
You don’t need specific qualifications for this role – but you do need to be well organised, positive and tenacious - driving results through your ability to engage the regional teams. We’re looking for knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and ideally contract administration too. Experience of Salesforce would certainly be a bonus, but more important is good English grammar and a keen eye for detail. You’ve also got to be comfortable talking to dealers, our Regional Teams globally and a range of other contacts. Good with people and great in a team, you’ll enjoy working with others around the business and around the world.
