About the role:
Sales Planning is an essential part of the JCB Sales operation, without it we would fail to meet the needs of our customers or run the business efficiently. Reporting to the Sales Planning Manager we require a Sales Planner to support multiple business units and factories across the globe.
What does this role involve day to day?
• Primary liaison between global Regional Sales teams, Product teams, and Factories with regards the planning of order requirements for customers.
• Maintaining an order book with SAP as the primary data source, this will include running and creating reports for internal use.
• Managing the needs of multiple stake holders, balancing customer needs and operational requirements.
• Receiving and responding to customer queries relating to order prioritisations, negotiating with operational teams to deliver the best outcome.
• Working with Group Finance to ensure machines are planned in line with financial credit limits.
• Attend regular Sales and Operational meetings, proving data and insight relating to your area of responsibility.
This will be suited to you if...
• You have an attention to detail as this role covers a wide range of business, JCB models, systems and processes.
• You're able to use Excel to a high level and experience in SAP is beneficial.
• You're a self-starter and self-motivated, able to work unsupervised.
• You have a curious mindset, always looking for a better way.
• You're able to develop and maintain long-term working relationships with stakeholders.
• Negotiation skills – Can provide solutions to problems where there is no “right” answer.
What happens next?
