What does this role involve day to day?
· Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies and procedures at all times providing managers with advice in respect of employee relations issues
· Support managers in the management and improvement of employee performance
· Assist in the management of short and long-term absence, balancing the welfare of employees and the needs of the business to identify solutions and remedies.
· You will work closely with our Occupational Health and Wellbeing team to deliver our Health & Wellbeing Action Plans.
· Support the Resourcing team to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce. This may include coaching and supporting managers in interviewing, assessment and selection methods, supporting the design and delivery of competency based assessment centres and interviews
· Participate in project teams across the wider HR function
· Use available metrics and trends to make informed decisions across a wide range of HR areas
· Ensure that all absence and sickness is managed and recorded correctly by line managers, in line with Company Policy and provide HR KPI reports and management information as required.
This will be suited to you if
· You possess working knowledge of Employment Law along with the ability to implement this in practical situations.
· You have strong written and verbal communications and be able to use IT platforms
· You have the ability to coach and influence at a range of levels
· You have excellent attention to detail
· You have experience producing reports such as absence rates, turnover, vacancies, temp labour usage
· You have the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
· You have proven ability to build trust with people and managers
· You have drive and a desire for self-improvement and development
What happens next?
Ordinarily, our Resourcing Team reviews and shortlists CVs. If shortlisted, you’ll speak to one of our Recruiters to discuss the role further.
