What does this role involve day to day?

• Running and or maintaining some of the most advanced test cells in the country / world.

• Monitoring and ensuring the engines health using upward of 300 channels of data from the engine.

• Carrying out instrumentation calibration and maintenance.

• Running and or maintaining increasingly complex testing regimes, configuring automated test schedules.

• Ensuring the engines calibration and it’s maps are correctly installed and populated

• Measuring & controlling, engine stripping & building, of prototype engines

This will be suited to you if

• You have a HNC level education or, with exception for exceptional experience; we are increasingly looking for / taking on degree level candidates, due to the ever increasing complexity of the role.

• You have a  sound understanding of the modern engines and or the equipment used to test them.

• You have proven experience in development engine testing and fault diagnostics in a test cell environment.

• You have computer literacy to a level where you can run several software application simultaneously, including the test cell control (CP Cadet), ATI / Visu (electronic engine management control), and several bespoke instrumentation software package. 

• You have an aptitude for hands on electro / mechanical work.
