This role is for JCB Power Products but based at JCB Cab Systems.

Overview of the role

JCB Power Products is seeking an experienced Mechanical design engineer with a specialism in Driveline to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the optimal performance and integration of driveline systems into our power products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooling systems, exhaust design, fluid dynamics, NVH analysis, and engine integration.

What does this role involve day to day?

• Defining specifications for fans and radiators, manage supplier relationships, and ensure performance targets are met.

• Designing and performing calculations to optimize exhaust systems for efficiency and durability.

• Specify fluid and lubrication systems, including pump selection and integration.

• Addressing Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) challenges using Anti-Vibration Mounts (AVMs).

• Leading Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and ensure seamless engine integration with driveline systems.

This will be suited to you if

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering field.

• You have proven experience in cooling, exhaust, fluid dynamics, and NVH.

• You possess strong knowledge of engine integration processes.

• You have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
