Overview of the role

JCB Transmissions is looking for a talented and experienced CAE Engineer to specialize in the design, analysis, and optimization of rotator systems for our transmission and driveline products. This role is integral to ensuring that our products deliver exceptional performance, durability, and efficiency through advanced simulation and analysis techniques

What does this role involve day to day?

·       Performing structural and dynamic analysis of rotator components, including shafts, bearings, and gears, using CAE tools

·       Supporting the design and optimization of rotator systems to meet performance, weight, and cost targets.

·       Collaborating with design and development teams to validate rotator systems against design specifications and project requirements.

·       Enhance existing CAE processes and develop innovative methodologies to improve analysis accuracy and efficiency

This will be suited to you if

·       You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering fields.

·       You have proven experience in the analysis and design of rotator systems, particularly in automotive or off-highway applications

·       You have a solid understanding of material properties, failure modes, and fatigue analysis

·       You have hands-on experience with CAE tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar for FEA and multibody dynamic analysis
