The Opportunity – Principal Embedded Software Engineer

What does this role involve day to day?

• Developing software for high performance displays using Qt (C++/QML) & supporting the improvement of processes and standards around embedded development.

• Investigating future platforms for new technologies and Ideas

• Leading and mentoring a team of software developers & liaising with a multi-disciplinary team to understand the requirements for each project.

This will be suited to you if:

• You are qualified to Degree level in an electronic/software-based technology discipline or equivalent experience.

• You have experience within Tier 1 or OE sectors (on highway or off highway) within system engineering or software development & C/C++ programming

• You have experience of Project delivery & Knowledge of different communication protocols (CAN/Ethernet) as a development techniques such as V Model and function safety
