The Opportunity - Sales Graduate
Start Date - September 2025, typically for 18 months
Starting Salary - £30,000
Minimum Entry Criteria - You need to be near to, or have completed, an appropriate bachelor’s or master’s degree and must be on track to achieve a 2:1 or higher
What does the Sales Graduate Scheme involve day-to-day?
Our 18-month scheme allows you to develop your skills and build a career in this highly challenging and rewarding environment. Within this scheme, you’ll experience three six-month placements through our key sales functions whether it be Regional Sales, Commercial Sales, Product, Dealer Development, or Global Major Accounts. Throughout, you’ll also enjoy unparalleled mentoring by our most successful people to help you along the way! We’re one of the biggest manufacturers of construction equipment in the world. Which means a career here is truly rewarding and, by joining us on this scheme, the opportunities are off the scale!
What could I be doing?
Product - JCB is a manufacturer of equipment, and its success is dependent on having a credible and competitive product offering. Our Product Teams are there to help deliver profitable sales growth across global markets; by making sure we’ve got an excellent product proposition for our customers
Commercial/ Sales Operations - Commercial Operations and Sales Operations are core functions of the JCB Sales organisation, both of which work closely with Product and Regional teams to help the business run effectively and efficiently to support sales strategy and growth plans
Global Major Accounts - This team build strong relationships with JCB’s largest customers driving increased volumes, share and profitability. The team are engaged throughout the sales process from initial enquiry through to machine delivery and aftersales support
What comes next?
- We’ll be shortlisting and sending out links to our online assessments in November/December 2024.
- Through December 2024 to February 2025, if you've been shortlisted following your online assessment you will be sent an invite to one of our in-person Assessment Centres.
- In-person Assessment Centres will take place from January to April 2025.
- We aim to call all candidates whether successful or unsuccessful a few weeks after the Assessment Centre has taken place.
- All of our apprentices and graduates will start their exciting journeys with a full induction week in September 2025!
